Express Shipping Charges
Express Shipping (only in India) is INR 600
For metro cities, we offer next day delivery for orders with express shipping. However, for other tier 1 and tier 2 cities, the delivery time will be 2-3 days.

Please note, express shipping is only available for prepaid orders.

Shipping Time
For standard shipping, most orders are typically dispatched within 3-4 business days (Monday-Friday) within India. If you opt for our express shipping option, you can expect to receive your order within 1-2 business days.

For International Orders it take 1-2 weeks from date of order.

In case of restocking, the shipment period may take longer and one of our staff members will send you a notification of delay via email.
If an item in your order isn’t immediately available in our warehouse, then please allow 7- 10 days for your purchase to be processed. Your order may be processed in multiple shipments, in which case you will be notified of the tracking number when each shipment occurs.

Tracking Order
Once your order is shipped, you will receive a tracking number that allows you to monitor the progress of your delivery.

Service Delays
Polite Society is not responsible for any unexpected shipping delays due to bad weather, natural disasters or clearance delays. Best thing to do in situations like this, would be to directly contact the courier company with the provided tracking number to receive updates.

Custom Fees
Custom duties/taxes/charges can be charged once the parcel reaches its destination country. Polite Society is not responsible for these charges and we are not aware of what these charges would be for each destination country, if applicable. We would recommend contacting your local custom office to inquire about what these rates would be for parcels being shipping from India to your country of residence. 

Failed Delivery
For any failed attempts of delivery pertaining to an incorrect address, multiple failed attempts to reach you or refusal to pay custom fees - Polite Society does not take responsibility for shipping fees pertaining to the return shipment of your order. If your order is returned to us and it is to be sent to you again, you will have to pay the shipping fees once again. 

Return and Exchange Policy
The return or exchange has to requested within 7 days from the date of product delivered for domestic orders. Kindly contact us via email or WhatsApp and our team will promptly assist you with the process. We do not accept returns on international orders yet.

The shipping for return and exchange requests will be borne by Polite Society only under the following conditions:

  • If there is a manufacturing defect in the piece.
  • If the package is damaged.

To return/exchange a product, pictures of the defect must be sent to us within 1 day of receiving the piece

If you decide to return/exchange a product under any other circumstance, shipping charges will be borne by the customer. The fixed charge for returns is INR 250 and for exchanges it is INR 500.

For returns, store credits will be provided to you that will be valid for up to 3 months for use. 

For either of the cases, please inform us in due time and we will arrange for a return pickup. Please make sure the tags are intact for a smooth process. Any returns without the tags will not be accepted.

Certain types of items are not eligible for return, like customized orders, sale items, gift cards, or accessories.

Store Credit (If Applicable)
Upon receipt and inspection of your return, we will promptly send you an email acknowledging its arrival and subsequently inform you of the status of your return request. If your return is approved, you will receive store credit as the resolution.

If you return a product and receive store credit, the sale using store credit will be final and no exchange for another product or size or return will be accepted on this order.

Refunds
We only issue store credit for returns. We do not offer refunds.
