The below policy applies to purchases made through the official website.

  • All returns are processed as store credit only. No refunds will be issued.

  • Returns/exchanges must be made within 14 days from the delivery date.

  • Customers are responsible for the return shipping cost of INR 250, which is deducted from the store credit provided upon approval.

  • Store credits are valid up to 6 months from the date of issue.

  • All items must be in their original condition—unworn, unused, and unwashed—with the original return tags attached.

  • Non-Returnable Items: Certain items, such as items with makeup stains, or those carrying any scent (perfume, etc.) will not be accepted. customised orders, sale items, gift cards, store credits and accessories, cannot be returned.

  • All orders placed during sale are final. Items purchased as part of a final sale, archive sale, end-of-season sale, or any other markdown on the website are not eligible for return or exchange.

  • Only authorised returns will be processed. Any unauthorised returns will be refused, and the customer must arrange for collection of their items.

  • Refund will be provided only if you receive a faulty, damaged, or incorrect item, please accept our apologies. Contact us at with your order number and images of the issue immediately. We will work to resolve the matter promptly.


  • Visit "Make a Return/Exchange" page on our website and log in to your account to initiate a return or exchange.

  • Provide the reason for your return/exchange when submitting your request.

  • Once your request is approved, we will arrange a courier pickup at your provided address within 2-3 working days. Please notify us of any changes in your pickup address while placing the request.

  • After the return is received at our warehouse, it will undergo quality inspection and upon approval our team will process the store credit within 2-3 business days. 

  • You can place a new order using store credits. 


  • Orders placed using store credits can not be returned or exchanged.
  • In case the garment is shipped back by you, Polite Society will not be liable for any loss incurred during the return of the shipment.
