Society creates these expectations, but style shouldn't come with an expiry date.

A conversation with Neetta on clothes, confidence and the freedom to dress entirely for yourself. Model, actor, hypnotherapist and healer she has never been one thing.

Is there something about the way you dress today that your younger self wouldn't have expected?

“Absolutely. I'm more experimental, more open to trying new silhouettes, and I don't worry as much about whether something is considered 'appropriate' or what other people might think. If I feel good in it, that's reason enough to wear it.”

"I'll never get used to anything.

Anybody that does, they might as well be dead."

Breakfast at Tiffany's - Audrey Hepburn

When did you stop caring what other people think?

“When I realised life is too short to live for other people's opinions.”

When do you feel your most confident?

“When I feel comfortable in my own skin and I'm wearing something that reflects who I am.”

What makes an outfit feel truly timeless to you?

“Good fit, quality, and confidence. Those never go out of style.”

How does this outfit make you feel?

Confident and feminine. The fit is flattering, comfortable, and makes me feel put together.

“You don’t need anyone else’s approval. Wear what makes you feel good.”

The Philadelphia Story — Katharine Hepburn

A woman who never needed the room to agree with her.

Lastly, Do you think women are made to feel like they should stop embracing their sensuality at a certain age?

“But I've never understood why sensuality should have an age limit. I think society has conditioned women to believe there's a point where they should become more reserved, stop embracing their femininity, or stop wearing what makes them feel hot. If anything, we grow more comfortable in our own skin with age. Fashion is self-expression, and that shouldn't be limited by a number.”
